Riverstead is very much a "let your hair down and be yourself" kind of place. There are very few rules, but the ones we have are strictly enforced.

1) No plagiarism. If you post something that isn't your work, give credit where credit is due.

2) There is an "open door" policy here. If you have a problem, issue, question, comment that you don't want to post out on the open boards - contact any one of the staff (AKA the board Deities). Your situation will be addressed ASAP. We cannot stress stress this enough. We want all of our members to feel safe and happy here. We do not play favorites. There is not one member who is more important than another. Our number one priority is doing what is best for Riverstead.

3)Although this is a pagan site, we practice strict religious tolerance. Everyone has a right to follow their own path. Just be careful not to cram yours down anyone's throat. There is no "one way". Not here.

4)This is a BIGGEE - NO FLAMING!!!! No abusive, argumentative, name-calling, fight-picking posts allowed!! There will be one warning. JUST ONE. Then banishment from the kingdom. We have an area (Riverstead Rants) where you can go to let off steam, and say pretty much whatever you want, as long as you aren't picking a fight with another member.

5)We aren't prudes here, but you never know who might be reading the threads, so try to keep the language fairly PG13. "F" bombs and such are kinda frowned upon. As is any real "adult" content. Keep that stuff in the "Rants" area as much as possible.

6)This is not a board for political discussion, there are boards out there that allow the heated arguments that come with such a topic, this isn't one of them. With the exception of political conversations that have an impact on the pagan community (the fight to have Pentacles placed on Pagan gravestones by the Veterans Administration would be a good example), such posts will be removed by staff. Experience has shown that general political discussions more often than not turn ugly quickly.
